GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing marketing initiatives to include marketing the AFSI brand through technical resources (data sheets, website, trade-shows),managing day to day marketing responsibilities and managing the AFSI image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is at the beginning stage of his/her career in Marketing.

Essential Functions:

  • Focused primarily on marketing project management, less on creative content generation
  • Utilize time management and interpersonal skills to initiate and manage all internal marketing projects; meet expectations with regard to deadlines and accuracy
  • Interface with Product Managers and Business Development for technical content; synthesize technical and sales input into material for Amphenol Military and Aerospace (AMAO) marketing department to generate content
  • Interface with AMAO marketing department in creation of marketing materials; provide necessary content input and manage projects to deadlines
  • Develop, coordinate and maintain content for the company website and social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Make routine updates/ changes/ corrections to company website
  • Interface with external web designer on major website changes/upgrades
  • Manage marketing database including catalogs, key codes and customer/prospect files
  • Create and maintain a complete product sample kit for the sales team
  • Work with product development team on New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure appropriate level of marketing collateral (e.g. web page, product video, data sheet)
  • Manage AFSI participation in tradeshows. Coordinate all activity with trade show companies, including registry and shipment of materials. Occasional travel to trade shows.
  • Analyze lead generation and sales results from tradeshows, website, google, print media, email newsletters
  • Support Market Managers and Sales Support Managers/Assistants with development of sales presentations by assembling quotations, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration and product capabilities; compiling account and competitor analyses
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills, as evidenced by an ability to interact with visitors, customers, vendors and internal staff of various interpersonal styles
  • Create simple product demo videos for YouTube
  • Create, upload and manage email marketing campaigns using tools like MailChimp, etc.
  • Assist with customer visits, including logistics arrangements and presentations
  • Assist HR with clearing visitors per U.S. government regulations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to write effectively for different media (e.g. web, print, white papers, press releases, social media)
  • Dynamic self-starter with a strong initiative and passion
  • Exceptional writing, proofing and communication skills with the ability to be organized, detail oriented and deadline driven

Required Education and Experience:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Financial Business Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining monthly and quarterly reports for various groups. Provide content and analysis of projects relating to multiple parts of the business (sales, costs, customers, markets, etc…). Special projects as needed.  The ideal candidate is someone who has one to two years’ experience as a Business Analyst in the financial area of an organization or someone who is currently working in public accounting and would like to make a shift to the Business Analyst career path.

Essential Functions:

• Serve as a liaison between the Accounting and Sales departments to develop a variety of reports and meet company reporting deadlines
• Database management in both Excel and Access to include planning, implementing, testing and queries
• Monthly and quarterly shipping analysis and reporting
• Track open quotes and distribute information to North American Sales Team
• Assist accounting and sales in program tracking
• Manage price lists (revision control, updates coordinated with sales)
• Track margins at order entry and coordinate with Sales Team
• Provide analysis and complete special projects to aid in sales optimization
• Complete customer specific certifications and forms

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel to include lookups, index/match and pivot tables
• Working knowledge of other Microsoft applications Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Project
• Exceptional people skills; working with various levels within the organization
