AFSI Certified to Supply M29504/4 & /5 Fiber Optic Termini

Allen, TX. 2/11/2009 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) is pleased to announce their qualification to the MIL-PRF-29504/4 & /5 Revision D specification for fiber optic termini. This physical contact, rear release terminus utilizes high-precision zirconia ferrules and alignment sleeves and is designed for use in size 16 contact positions of D38999 series circular connectors. Revision D of the MIL-PRF-29504/4 & /5 specification was released in December of 2006, superseding the less stringent previous revisions.
